Thanks for coming to my fundraising page to raise money for Doonkar Retreat House at White Conch Dharma Center!

Some of you will know me as an artist but I am also a devoted member of White Conch Dharma Center. I live in Brooklyn, NY and come out to Wisconsin for retreat. The Buddhist teachings I receive there are profound and life changing - my daily meditation practice is strengthened every time I come to White Conch. As both a Jew and a Buddhist I have been given compassion practices that enhance my ability to live openly and with true caring in all areas of my life.

I once wondered if more meditation would take me away from my art but it has had quite the opposite effect. The support I receive at White Conch nourishes my relationship to the work that I do and enables me to delve deeper into my creative practice with increased focus and intention. It is important to me that my artwork is available in public settings and I have recently completed large works for New York University Langone Medical Center and San Francisco General Hospital.

I have made two editions of hand-colored etchings for White Conch - one which is available at a $1000 donation level (Pond)  and the other at a $300 donation level (Lotus Pond). Funds are still needed in order to complete the construction process of Doonkar House and I hope that you will contribute to help me meet my pledged goal.
